Donor fees
Plasma donors are compensated because of the time commitment involved in being a regular plasma donor. Unlike donating blood, plasma donations can take up to two hours and sometimes longer. In addition, plasma donors can donate up to twice per week and only plasma from repeat donors is used to make plasma derived therapies. Donors are paid between $20 and $35 per donation.
